Web Application Engineering Manager, Marlborough, MA

Job Duties: Support project personnel in resolving complex program problems.  Coordinate and monitor technical web based projects from initiation through delivery.  Ensure technical standards of quality, timeliness and performance are met.  Contribute to research and development projects and keep executives informed of project progress.  Coordinate the activities of technical staff and coordinate technical staff selection and training. Code, test, debug, implement, and document highly complex programs. Develop complex test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.  Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00PM, 40 hours per week.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Master of Science degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field plus two years experience in the Job Offered, Engineer, Database Administrator or related. 

Special Requirements:  Employer will accept any suitable equivalent combination of education, training or experience. Applicants must also possess two years of experience, which may be gained concurrently, with:

  • Technical design including logical database models, data integrity, data mining techniques, system integration; 
  • LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) technologies;
  • Database administration, data mining, data warehousing, and web application development.
